This Saturday June 7 2008, L.O.F.T. Youth will be hosting the ARTERY Graffiti Expo at the St. Alban’s Boys and Girls Club from 11am-4pm.
There will be Live Graffiti Art, Custom Air Brush Tshirts, Food, as well as performance by artists from LOFTMusic!!

You are all invited to come out to the Expo and enjoy the good music and live art and help us create awareness about the positive work the LOFT is doing in the Christie Ossington community!

The L.O.F.T. youth program
Initiated in 2001, “The L.O.F.T” (which stands for Life Opportunities, Food and Technology) was developed in consultation with and in response to the expressed interests of local youth, aims to address youth issues and concerns in the Christie Ossington community through meaningful youth engagement and community development. Among its goals, the L.O.F.T. provides opportunities for marginalized community youth (16 to 24 years) including, newcomer and immigrant youth, out-school youth, street-involved youth and youth with a previous criminal history, to develop skills integral to employment and education success while supporting their development as community citizens.
